Towson places 26th in first tournament of the spring

The Tigers finished their first tournament of the spring in 26th place, shooting a total of 931. 

The three-day tournament spotlighted freshman Josephine Jung. Jung carded a three-over 75 to tie a personal best Tuesday. Her performance helped Towson end the final round with a total of 312 shots. 

Junior Alex Hios, carded a five-over 77 during the final round. She ended the day with a total of 230 (+14) shots for tournament.

Sophomore Jenny Buchanan ended the day with a total number of 79 shots, casting a finish of 236 total (+20) shots.

Towson returns to action on March 19 when the team heads south to compete in the Morehead State Citrus Classic at the Redtail Gold Club in Sorrento, Florida.
