Fetty Wap Fall Fest to be rescheduled

The Towson Fall Fest concert featuring headliner Fetty Wap and artists Bas, Cozz and Omen will be rescheduled from its original date of Nov. 6.

“Obviously this is really disappointing news but we are working diligently as a whole group to find times to reschedule,” CAB Director Brianne Wade said. “He wants to reschedule so we are trying to make that a reality.”

Following an injury from a motorcycle accident earlier this month, Fetty Wap was advised by doctors not to travel until he has fully recovered, as it could be hazardous to his health, according to CAB’s press release.

Many of Fetty Wap’s upcoming concert and tour appearances have been canceled, in addition to Towson’s Fall Fest, due to his health.

“The decision to cancel the November 6th show is entirely out of the Towson Campus Activity Board’s control,” CAB said in the press release. “We have been working persistently since July 2015 to bring this show to our campus this fall, and are certain that we share your utmost disappointment with this unfortunate news.”

CAB is working to reschedule the concert to a date when Fetty Wap is recovered and willing to perform without risking his health, next semester.

Any additional updates to the situation can be found on CAB’s social media outlets, @TowsonCAB.

“In the meantime, our thoughts go out to Fetty Wap for a speedy recovery,” CAB said in the press release. “We ask that you be patient with the process and trust that we are doing everything in our power to remedy this situation.”
