Towson University police have obtained a warrant to arrest 24-year-old non-affiliate Zachary Campbell in connection with the Peeping Tom incident that occurred in the College of Liberal Arts building May 2.
“We are grateful that the Towson University Police Department quickly identified the suspect in the recent peeping tom incident in the College of Liberal Arts building,” TU Director of Communications and Media Relations Ray Feldmann said. “This is another example of the excellent work TUPD does in keeping our campus community informed and safe.”
According to the TUPD crime log, at around 3 p.m. Monday “a male subject was observed in the third floor bathroom in the College of Liberal Arts Building placing a cell phone under the divider and taking photographs of the occupant of the stall.”
An hour and a half later, TUPD alerted students and facility per a campus-wide email crime alert. An update concerning the arrest warrant was sent out shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
In the log, TUPD describes Campbell as being 5’6” tall and weighing about 150 pounds. An image of Campbell can be found in the University crime alert. If anyone sees Campbell on campus, TUPD asks that they report it immediately by calling 410-704-4444. Callers can remain anonymous.
