Student Discount Guide: local and national organizations that give students a break

The New York Times: By signing up with an @students.towson.edu email address students can access a free digital subscription to The New York Times, funded by the PawPrint Collegiate Readership Program. Included is news, politics, business, culture coverage and newsletters.
The Baltimore Sun: Students can access both a digital subscription and daily newsletters from this local newspaper when using their student email account, also funded through the PawPrint Collegiate Readership Program.
Cinemark Towson and XD: By presenting a student ID at a Cinemark box office student can receive discounts on tickets and or concessions. The offers differ with each theater.
Center for the Arts Performances: A recent donation from an anonymous alumnus lets students access free tickets to art performances held at the COFAC building. A limited amount of tickets are available one hour before the show at the COFAC Box Office.
Amtrak: Students ages 17-24 are able to save 15% on their train tickets nationally when booking their seats at least one day in advance. The discount will either be automatically applied when purchasing tickets, or use code V814 when booking a trip on their app.
Towson Town Center: Multiple stores at and around the Towson Town Center offer student discounts. Clothing stores J. Crew and Madewell offer 15% off with a valid student ID, Francesca’s and Pandora each offer 10% off and stores like Forever 21 apply a student discount through online purchases.
